Did ya know?
Bust out Killer Kat Eyes in 3 steps! This is the technique Kat Von D uses every day for her liner look.
STEP 1 FLICK IT
Using the angle of your lower lash line as a guide, flick liner out toward your temple.
Keep your eyes open to check for symmetry!
STEP 2 BUILD IT
Work the liner from the outer lash line to meet the line you just created and build your desired thickness and angle.
STEP 3 DEFINE IT
Begin at inner lash line and sweep Kat Von D’s waterproof eyeliner toward the outer corner, creating a smooth, even line. Boom! Instant Kat Eye.
To emphasize your lash line, lift the outer corner of your eye, exposing the inner lashline. Dot the tip of Kat Von D Ink Liner in between the roots of each lash.
Give Kat Von D liner a swift shake up before using to get the formula moving!
Keep the formula flowing! Kat Von D always wipes the tip of her felt tip eyeliner with a damp tissue before using. This prevents build-up from eyeshadow, giving your liner a longer, happier life!
Make sure your skin is clean and dry before applying Ink Liner (moisture can compromise the wear!)
Point the tip toward your eye’s inner corner, and lay the tip FLAT along the lash line. Glide Kat Von D’s eyeliner across the lash line toward outer corners in a smooth, even motion, getting as close to the lashes as possible for pen-like precision.
For a precise thin line, apply one coat using the point of the tip.
To thicken, turn the pen to angle tip on the side and layer, layer, layer!
Meet the muse! Kat named each shade after her favorite writers and painters.
